Ludwig Graf Westarp, MBA, M.A.
Ludwig Graf Westarp, MBA, M.A. has many years of management experience in Europe and Southeast Asia. He is the founder of SKARO VIETNAM Services & Trading and SKARO Records & Event Management in Germany. With management responsibility for up to 2,000 employees, Graf Westarp has already managed well-known international companies regionally in Southeast Asia.
He graduated from the Berlin School of Economics and Law with an international Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Europe-Asia Management. Before his MBA studies, he was successful in marketing and event management with his company founded in 2004 in Berlin and worked in 2010 in Group Development at R+V Versicherung AG at the head office in Wiesbaden with a focus on “internationalization strategies”.
As an MBA, he first moved to Indonesia in 2011, where he worked in business development for EKONID, the German-Indonesian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, in Jakarta. He then worked as a project manager for the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Vietnam and Myanmar, developing laws and policy guidelines in the areas of economic development, environmental protection and tourism in cooperation with ministries and institutions, and was active both as a project manager for the German Business Association Vietnam (GBA) and as a guest lecturer at the Vietnam University of Commerce.
In the following years, he worked for CBRE, ISS, ADEN Services and ASEAN Business Partners as well as for innovative German companies in the field of digitalization. Malaysia has fascinated him for many years.
