Roland Mauss has been CFO of Oryx Stainless AG since 1997. He previously worked in the assurance department at Ernst & Young. From 2007 to 2013, he was a member of the audit committee at the Chamber of Auditors, Berlin; since 2009, he has also been a member of the executive committee and chairman of the technical committee for alloyed steel scrap at the Bundesvereinigung Deutscher Stahlrecycling – und Entsorgungsunternehmen e.V., Düsseldorf, and a member of guideline committees at the Verein Deutscher Ingenieure e.V. The Oryx Group is the world’s third-largest stainless steel scrap trader and has achieved impressive growth in recent years. With operations in Germany, the Netherlands and Asia, the group’s customers include major global stainless steel manufacturers.
